Does The Grand Hotel have a swimming pool and gym?
Yes, all guests of The Grand Hotel enjoy complimentary access to the award-winning Arena Health Club, located on the grounds of the hotel. Facilities include a 21-metre swimming pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, and a fully equipped gymnasium, making it the perfect place to relax, recover, or keep up with your fitness routine during your stay.
What are the opening hours of the Arena Health Club?
The Arena Health Club is open daily for hotel guests:
Monday to Friday: 6:30am to 09:45pm (children welcome until 7:00pm)
Saturday: 8:00am to 8:45pm (children welcome until 7:00pm)
Sunday and Public Holidays: 9:00am to 8:45pm (children welcome until 7:00pm)
Please note that the pool closes 30 minutes before the club’s closing time, and the gym closes 15 minutes before closing time. All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. For health and safety reasons, children under 18 are not permitted to use the steam room, sauna, or jacuzzi.
Are towels provided at the swimming pool?
Yes, towels are available for guests at the Arena Health Club reception desk, so there is no need to bring your own from your room.
Non-hotel residents that require a towel are subject to a €3.00 charge.
Do I need to book a time slot for the pool or gym at the Arena Health Club?
No, advance booking is not required to use the pool or gym at the Arena Health Club. Access is complimentary for all hotel guests and is available on a walk-in basis during opening hours. During peak periods, we recommend contacting the Arena Health and Fitness Club reception in advance to check availability, particularly for the swimming pool.

Coast Restaurant
Arena Members receive 10% off the food bill for tables of up to 6 people.
The offer is valid Monday to Friday only.
A valid Arena Membership must be presented before payment.
The offer is valid on food only and excludes beverages.
The discount applies to one transaction per table, with a maximum table size of 6 people.
The discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion, voucher, set menu discount, or loyalty reward.
The offer is not valid on public holidays, special event days, or other dates as determined by management.
The discount is non-transferable and must be redeemed by the named Arena Member, who must be present at the table.
The discount cannot be applied retrospectively after payment has been completed.
Coffee Dock Loyalty Benefit
Arena Members are required to purchase 8 coffees to complete their Coffee Dock loyalty card and qualify for a free coffee.
A valid Arena Membership must be presented when collecting loyalty stamps and when redeeming a free coffee.
Standard Coffee Dock loyalty card terms and conditions apply.
The loyalty benefit cannot be combined with any other coffee or loyalty promotion unless otherwise stated.
Loyalty cards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit
