Our Green Team leads the charge on sustainability across the hotel, championing initiatives that reduce our environmental footprint at every level. In our kitchen, we are proud to operate with a positive carbon kitchen, minimising emissions and embedding sustainability into the heart of our food operation. Complementing this, our on-site biodigester transforms food waste into a resource rather than a burden, diverting organic waste from landfill and closing the loop on our kitchen’s environmental impact.
Energy management is another area where we continue to raise the bar. Through ongoing investment and a proactive approach to monitoring and reducing consumption, we have made significant strides in improving our energy efficiency across the property.
Our sustainability efforts extend to how we do business, too. In December 2025, The Grand Hotel was proud to receive the Green Meetings Award, recognising our commitment to hosting events and conferences in an environmentally responsible way, a milestone that reflects the hard work of our entire team.
