What is the hotels credit card policy?

When making a booking, all guests are required to give credit card details to secure bookings. This card will be preauthorized 24 hours in advance of arrival. Debit cards used for guarantee purposes will be charged the first night cost at booking stage.

What payment methods are accepted?

The Grand Hotel accepts all major credit cards. Visa, Mastercard & American Express.

How do I make a group or multi-room booking?

What should I do if I have not received a booking confirmation?

Please contact our reservations team directly on +353 1 845 0000 or email booking@thegrand.ie and it can be resent to you. Please also check your spam or junk folder.

Do the room prices include VAT?

Yes, all room prices displayed on our website are inclusive of all taxes and fees. VAT is at the rate of 13.5%

Is my booking guaranteed if I have not provided a credit card?

No, all reservations require credit card details to guarantee bookings. Provisional bookings will be held for an agreed period and then released if not secured with credit card details.

How do I make a cancellation or amendment to my booking?

If you would like to cancel or amend an existing booking, please contact our reservations team for further assistance on +353 1 845 0000 or email booking@thegrand.ie. For third party bookings, please contact the third party directly.

What is the cancellation policy at the Grand Hotel?

For bookings made directly with the hotel or on our own hotel website, our cancellation policy is 24 hours prior to arrival. Reservations which are cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the arrival date, will be subject to a non-arrival charge of one night’s accommodation. Non confirmed reservations will be cancelled. For group bookings, please refer to contracts issued. For third party bookings, please refer to their cancellations T&C’s

What does the no show policy entail?

No-show reservations will be charged one full night’s rate.
