We organized an international educational conference of 150 participants in September in Grand Hotel Malahide, and it went very well. Everyone loved the venue and the catering. We were absolutely delighted with everything last Thursday. The room, coffee and lunch were all fantastic. I was catching snippets of feedback from delegates as I walked around the room during the day and it was all very positive. The support from your staff was amazing, nothing was too much trouble and someone was there whenever we needed help – from getting the screen and projector working first thing, to keeping the aircon at the right temperature and moving everyone to and from coffee and lunch was amazing.

I just wanted to thank you, to the management and staff of the hotel for a very enjoyable Seniors’ lunch last Saturday. Namely Harshdeep, Karine, Emma and Zoe, and indeed all the bar and table staff, nothing was too much trouble. The room and tables were so festive and decorated beautifully to the delight of all our guests. Everyone agreed the food was delicious, including myself and some committee members who sampled the dinners of guests who were unable to attend. No request was too much trouble.

This event is the highlight of the year for many of our community members. We appreciate all you did to make it a success once again. A special thanks to you Hilary for our meetings and phone calls ensuring all our requirements were looked after.

The hotel itself has changed somewhat over that time having undergone a number of renovations, but what hasn’t changed is the excellent service we receive every year and how much our delegates love coming back to The Grand for this event. A huge thank you to you, Sam, Francisco, Garrett, and all of the reception team for taking such great care of us last week. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and everyone was so responsive to our ever- shifting schedule. Francisco even helped clear up packaging in the room, and Garrett never hesitated to make an extra cup of tea, those little touches made all the difference! I hope that you are well and having a good week.

On behalf of both EssilorLuxottica and Event Exchange, I wanted to thank you personally for your unfaltering care and attention to detail in making the recent Varilux Masters event such a success. From the outset with the initial enquiry, you were always available and provided accurate and concise information from the start. Nothing was too much trouble, and I cannot praise you highly enough.

A special mention must also be given to Damien, Sam, Emma, Zoe and the entire wider team at the hotel. As we discussed yesterday on our team catch up, the team at The Grand Malahide are a true credit to the Hospitality Industry. Nothing was an issue and every request was met with a smile. You have a happy team, it was so refreshing to see.

I sincerely hope to be able to return soon either for business or pleasure.

Hi Sharon and Hilary,

Well everything went off without a hitch on Sunday. Crowds and takings were down slightly due to a range of other events on locally but we are very pleased and raised funds for two charities.

Benita & Abigail who served us dinner on our first evening.  They were so lovely and kept everyone happy and well-fed.  The team were very impressed with the Bianconi Room and the food was exceptional.   

Cian who made such wonderful cocktails at our reception for Barbados Tourism, he was such a lovely young man, and he ensured everyone was looked after that night.

Our Sales Team and our all sponsors were very impressed with the hotel, and all the facilities available. The new decor was a big hit, and the hotel atmosphere was great.

Everyone was pleased with their bedrooms and commented on how comfortable they felt.   The breakfast team on both mornings were also really good, and made a big impression on all of us, especially our US colleagues.

The team unanimously said they had a wonderful time,  all the hotel staff were so professional and made the team very welcome.

A big thank you to all the staff, both front and back of house, for making our conference a big success.

We look forward to working with you again on future events, and we will continue to recommend the Grand Hotel, Malahide, to our guests and colleagues.
