What our clients say
I just wanted to say THANK YOU, to you personally and to all the team at The Grand. The dedication of all your team was key to ensure a perfect event, and personally I can say that I felt at home during the last week. I would like to specially congratulate to Andrew, Colum, Paula, Katy, and all the reception team. They all did a superb job and I will always be thankful because without your support this event wouldn’t have been the same. I am glad we did it in Malahide and that we choose The Grand for this conference, I would recommend the venue to anyone looking to organize an event in Ireland.
Hopefully we will see each other near in the future.

Just a note to thank you and your team most sincerely for providing a most professional service to us on our recent visit when we had a retirement seminar on January 22nd 2018.
The facilities in the hotel are always first class. It was a pleasure to arrive and find the room and refreshments provided in exactly the manner we had requested. All our seminar participants thoroughly appreciated the comfort of the tea break area and the quality of the tea/coffee/scones and the array of fruit for the more health conscious.
A very special word of thanks to John who looked after our every need and requirement so well and it was a pleasure to see a consumate professional in action.
I look forward to being back with you again April.
Kind regards

Brightwater Group have had two Christmas Parties at the Grand Hotel and the attention to detail to ensure all our expectations were met was incredible.
If it is possible this year exceeded last year and that is as a direct result of the inputs on understanding our company and culture by Catherine (Events Manager) Mark (Head Chef) and Paula on the night in question making sure that not even the smallest detail was overlooked.
From our champagne and canape reception through to dinner and a late supper of fish and chips and everything in-between we have nothing but positive accolades for the Grand.
Our staff are our barometer and everybody had a positive experience.
Catherine, Mark and Paula many thanks to each of you.
Sincerest Regards and a Happy Christmas and New Year to you all.

We held a week long conferencing event at the Grand in October 2017. It went extremely well and the Grand Hotel pulled out all the stops. From planning to the execution the staff were professional, polite and helpful. As an International Organisation everyone was made to feel most welcome and this was commented upon time and again during and after our stay.
Matthew Ryan and his Senior Management Team were very attentive to us,ensuring all our needs were met during the event itself. Given that we took over the Hotel for the week in question all staff were supportive to make sure we had a great event, which we did.
I would have no hesitation to recommend this charming hotel as a conference venue. The level of detail that we were supported with was second to none, and that made a huge amount of difference in the planning process. Thank you for making our 20th Anniversary meeting one to certainly be remembered

We held the 27th Annual NECTAR conference last week in theGrand Hotel in Malahide – the venue is ideal if you are ever organising a meeting/ conference/ event (up to 200 participants) in Dublin as:
- The Grand is a beautiful old hotel in seaside location in stunning village of Malahide
- The hotel has a variety of conference rooms suitable for all sorts of events
- The staff are incredibly experienced and make the organisation so easy.
- The hotels rates are competitive relative to rates in town.
- It’s just a 15-20 min taxi journey from Dublin Airport for ~€15-20.
Overall I cannot recommend it highly enough, especially for non-Irish delegates who will really appreciate the seaside location, views and picturesque village.

The Grand Hotel is grand, indeed, but not in the way you might think. It is small enough to provide customized service, big enough to provide plentiful service, and timeless in atmosphere. I conduct my multiple-day training programs here and wish all my global venues were as lovely as the Grand Hotel. The food is delicious, the staff could not be more professional or courteous, the meeting rooms are spacious and beautiful, and the setting is incredible. Overlooking the water and mere steps to the village, I plan to return time and again.
